PEPFAR Fellowship Vacancies

PEPFAR Fellowship Programme

The PEPFAR Fellowship Programme was launched in response to the growing need for scarce skills human capacity development in HIV and AIDS care and treatment programmes within South Africa.

The President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Fellowship Programme offers an exciting opportunity for masters' level graduates and students who have completed 80% of their Masters course work to be placed with HIV and AIDS service organizations (PEPFAR Partners) within South Africa. Only South African citizens and permanent residents are elligble to make application to The PEPFAR Fellowship Programme, however Non South African candidates can send in their CV's for future reference should The PEPFAR Fellowship Programme expand into Africa.

Salaried positions are available throughout South Africa with the focus on scarce skills. The PEPFAR Fellowship Programme currently provides funding for up to 45 placement opportunities on an annual basis. Intakes for 2011 are scheduled for January/February, June/July and October.
